Sama kazna na stranu, zanimljiv mi je dokument o kazni u kojem sasvim pogrešno piše da je Marti taj koji je pretjecao Verschoora, a još mi je zanimljivije da ovaj Driver's Standards Guidelines koji definira pravila pretjecanja, koliko god se trudim, nigdje ne mogu iskopati. Jedva sam iskopao onaj stari iz 2022., a ovaj novi, u kojem se očito promijenila definicija za pretjecanje s unutarnje strane (retrovizor kao referenca - spominje se ovdje i kod Maxove kazne, a i Brundle junior je u jednom od prijenosa spomenuo kokpit kao referencu) ne postoji. Očito još jedan tajni dokument, kao i tehničke direktive

The Stewards examined video evidence. Having considered the matter extensively, the Stewards determined that MAR moved to overtake VER on the inside at turn 1. The front axle of MAR was ahead of the mirror of VER at the apex of turn 1 and therefore MAR had the right to the full width of the track at the exit of turn 1. VER remained on the outside of MAR at the exit of turn 1 and the entry to turn 2. MAR was ahead of VER at the apex of turn 2. MAR was not left racing room by VER at the exit of turn 2 and left the edge of the track and rejoined behind VER. The Stewards determined that because MAR was ahead of VER at the apex of turn 1, which was the first element of the turn 1/turn 2 chicane and was also ahead of Car 6 at the apex of turn 2, VER ought to have left racing room for MAR at the exit of turn 2 but MAR was forced off by VER. The Stewards took into account as a mitigating factor that because the driver of MAR had left room for VER at the exit of turn 1, VER was entitled to stay to the right of MAR through turn 2 but, given the tight chicane, VER had to use the inside curb at turn 2 and the use of that curb compromised VER’s ability to leave more space for MAR on the outside. The Stewards imposed a 5 second time penalty on VER.
