Znaci oni su svoja 2 filmska dana za ovu sezonu ispucala nadam se da nece bit problema sad na zadnjem testu.

The 2016 spec Honda PU(Aria's) was installed in the MP4-31 in January
but they ran into problems.(had to redesign some parts for it would fit correctly)

In early Feb they started it up and ran it in the MP4-31(on a shaker like rig/dyno) and they ran into reliability problems.(intake part or parts failed) The replacement(re-designed) parts will not be ready until first race.
So the first test this week the PU was run under reduced power.
They hope to turn up the power the next test(it ran great Fri and Sat during and finally sounds great during photo shoot..ran 100km each day and pits stop practice)
Aria lost his job when they ran the PU in the MP4-31 for the first time and it fail 3 weeks ago.Also with the R&D Skunkworks* Team's PU out-performing his 2016 PU on the dyno didn't help either!

Cim je Arai dobio otkaz znaci da su opet nesto za*ebali.

"They have definitely fixed the main issue we had last year, which was deployment.However, we are still not at the performance level of Mercedes and Ferrari, so there is still a lot of work to do. Da, nadam se da su se napokon Honda i Mobil 1 našli...

Pisao sam o tome u kolumni pa da ne drobim o tome opet tu - Hondi bi bolje pasao Eneos, ali Mobil 1 je dugi niz godina partner McLarenu i nosi mu hrpu sponzorskog novca koji mu je, zaista, potreban.

Još malo pozitive vezano u McHondu.

Ovogodišnji motor će imati agresivan kvalifikacijski mod (Koji koriste i Mercedes i Ferrari). Može donijeti do 30BHP više, no Honda trenuntno ne može isporučiti tih maksimalnih 30 BHP.

Kako vrijeme odmiče, sve više mislim da je ovo lažna pozitiva, obmanjivanje javnosti, navijača a između ostalog i sebe samih kao vozača.. al ne želim trčati pred rudo! Vrijeme će pokazati. lNadam se velikom uspijehu Honde iduće godine, ali nemam previše nade da će ostati u ovoj vozačkoj postavi ako se ponovi prošla godina.

McLaren to run more new parts in Melbourne

Eric Boullier has been speaking to reporters in the lunch break and, depending on whether you're a glass full or glass half empty kind of person, there are different ways to interpret his verdict on testing.
Firstly, he confirmed McLaren haven't been able to test all of their Melbourne-spec parts here - but, in sharp contrast to the situation 12 months ago, believes the MP4-31 is generally a reliable car:

"We are not running the 2016 spec here. We are a bit behind the programme. So that means we are going to turn up in Australia with more bits on the car that has unfortunately not been signed off here. But it is what it is.

"We have been able to run most of the days, which is very good news. In terms of chassis, it's important that we could go through all the systems, which we couldn't do last year, which for us is a good achievement. Now we have a reliable car, more or less, to start the season - so definitely more confident.

"There will be more to come now. The base looks okay and there will be much more performance in the coming weeks."
