I spoke to my nephew at length today. The mood at Sakura is one as others have mentioned is quiet optimism. The dyno numbers have correlated to track telemetry thus far. They have only run 3 of the most conservative race mappings out of the pre-programmed maps for Barcelona. The atmosphere is quite different under the current leadership. His words were, "more smiles and less anger. It's like dating the cute girl next door rather than the high maintenance super-model..." That made me laugh out loud. It appears they are testing the slightly more aggressive PU of the two built and tested for the start of the season.

The FIA will take all necessary action to protect the sport and its role and reputation as regulator of the FIA Formula One World Championship.

Oprostite što uskačem u temu, pratio sam samo jedan dan tesitranja do sada zbog manjka slobodnog vremena (i to onaj mučeni kišni). Je li trenutni PU u Toro Rossu potpuno novi ili prošlogodišnji? Čini mi se da sam od Teda čuo jednom da je ovo motor sa kraja prošle godine.

In the first test week,Honda brought a PU which mainly focused on the reliability.This week,Honda bring a new PU which is planned for Melbourne if its ok.
As the other teams,Toro Rosso didnt do any qualifying simulation yesterday.They did some race simulation to see how the car works in different fuel load and how the power unit works when the drivers pushs in different level.We can see how the STR13 performances when they uesd the qualifying mode to do a time attack In the last 3 test days
