Izgleda da su danas obavili i dosta testova aerodinamike...

Button optimističan.

"It is difficult to say in terms of power because this won't be the engine we take to the first race. The deployment is so much better. I don't know if it is the same as the other guys have but it feels like it is. That is a big step for us," Button said.
"This isn't a track where you struggle for deployment over one timed lap, but over a long run we were struggling massively and losing four or five tenths on a lap, whereas now we don't so we have gained lap time back over a long run.
"It is much better, very easy to understand the deployment and to play with it and it listens to change which is good. It is good to see all the hard work over the winter has paid off."

"The standout is the deployment has been very good, very consistent throughout the day, no issues, and quite a big chunk better on the long runs compared to last year."Obviously it shows other weaknesses with the car we still need to improve, but it was a good day, and I'm reasonably happy. On outright pace? Who knows. If you look at the times you would say we are miles away, but we're not going out there to set a lap time, we're going out there to do different checks. We're obviously not going to be the quickest car at this test, and probably won't be for most of the year, but as long as we can see improvements, the feeling of the car is good and something to build on."
[On] deployment we've made a good step forward, but with the power unit we've a lot of work still," he added."They [Honda] have done a good job on working on the reliability and pushing the deployment very hard over the winter."But I don't think any of us will be happy going to Melbourne with the power unit. There is definitely more to come from the first race. We need that."Button, though, can at least sense Honda has made strides, not least behind the scenes after his dealings with the Japanese manufacturer's staff."I said when we had our first meeting yesterday, they have so much more confidence when they are talking in English," said Button."But they are also confident but they really believe in what they have done and achieved over the winter."It's great to see that confidence because initially it was a very different situation.

"They have got about a third of the new components on the PU at present, they are to my info using the 2015 ICE, CE and TC, they are testing new MGU-K and MGU-H and a few other items. They wont have their new TC till Melbourne and that's the last of the items they need to make the stride to the alleged 880hp mark. That will still be 30-40hp down on the Mercedes and Ferrari PUs, but there is new Esso fuels and Mobil1 lubricants on the way for Bahrain that will be worth that figure I hear."

Ja hatt, meni to sve slično piše. Piše i da planiraju dodatno pojačati razvojnu ekipu. Uopće ne sumnjam da imaju dovoljno pametnih ljudi u hondi, ali čini mi se da trebaju i nekoga izvana.

Razlog zašto je Arai dobio otkaz.

"My sources in Japan state that the upgrades that the 2016 PU will have at the next test was done by a 'Rogue R&D Team' run by ex-Honda F1 engineers(it looks like they where shamed/embarrassed with the product the young team and their leaders delivered last year).
What I heard was they ran their own development and their's ran better and fixed last years ERS problems.
Arai was 100% against their design so they did it behind his back with the blessing of the F1 Legends.
This is why it will not be ready until the first race.
Arai was just thick headed and was going to stick with last years failed design....keep on doing the say thing thinking it will do better cost him his job! "

Još jedan uspješan dan je iza McLaren Honde, i dalje nismo vidjeli nijedan kvar, danas je Alonso uspio odvoziti čak 119 krugova što nikako nije mala stvar i zasad, barem što se tiče pouzdanosti, McH izgleda jako dobro. Zanimljivo je da su u ova dva dana vozači odvozili jednak broj krugova kao prošle godine u dva cijela testa (203). Nadam se da će nastaviti u tom ritmu po pitanju pouzdanosti, ali i da ćemo vidjeti i nešto bolje performanse u nastavku.

Mozda iduce godine a i to je tesko utvrditi kolike ce promjene biti oko PU. Za sad borba za koji bod i to je to, sigurno je da ce biti u borbi sa Renaultom ostali mislim da su malo naprijed.

Evo nekih jučerašnjih izjava od uvaženih članova muzičke skupine Mclaren-Honda iliti po naški "Duo pegla".


"We had a good day with regard to reliability again," added Director of Engineering, Matt Morris, "enjoying two days with no serious reliability issues has been a real positive.
"Today we spent most of the morning performing aero characterisation work, which required a lot of the instrumentation on the car. Although this part of the testing is time-consuming, we have gained confidence that the chassis is delivering as expected, such that we can now move on to looking to exploit the performance potential.
"This afternoon we spent some time doing basic set-up work, running through control systems and characterising the chassis, as a continuation of yesterday's work with Jenson. We also ran through a number of different engine modes on the power unit to check functionality and integration, which went very smoothly and provided us with useful data. Most of the day was spent running at the harder end of tyre compound scale, so we shouldn't read too much into the absolute lap times.
"We completed everything we had planned for our programme for today, and a little bit more besides, so, overall, another very positive day of running under our belts."

"Today's testing target was to do continuous laps at a steady pace so we could gauge the harvest and deployment of the power unit, and perform all energy management system checks," revealed Satoshi Nakamura, Honda R&D Co Ltd's principal engineer. "Thanks to the team's hard work and Fernando's focus in the cockpit, the 119 laps on track gave us plenty of feedback to finish today's planned running programme early. I am pleased to say that we will have lots of data to look through tonight and tomorrow onwards."
