Jedina staza gdje se mozes nadati bodovima a da bas ne odlucuje kvalitet bolida jeste Monako. Al generalno kad bih mogao birati gdje bih uzeli bodove, rekao bih svaku stazu osim Monaka.

Mozda nije poenta u tome da osvojimo bod, dva. Samo da pocnemo pobjedjujemo timove, da pobjegnemo sa zacelja koliko toliko. To mi je draze no osvojiti bod, dva, tri jer bi tek tada znacilo da napredujemo kao tim i mogao bi se nadati da jednog dana mozemo napraviti nesto.

Ex-Formula 1 driver Will Stevens moves to Manor WEC LMP2 team

Former Manor Formula 1 driver Will Stevens will follow John Booth and Graeme Lowdon into the World Endurance Championship this year.

Stevens missed out on an F1 seat with Manor Racing in 2016, as the team elected to enlist Pascal Wehrlein and Rio Haryanto.

The British driver will switch to sportscars with his former F1 team bosses, as Booth and Lowdon move to the WEC and Le Mans 24 Hours' LMP2 class as Manor Motorsport.

"The opportunity to continue my relationship with Graeme and John was one that I was very pleased to accept," Stevens said.

"It gives me a great chance to explore endurance racing, be competitive and go racing with people I enjoyed working with last year so I'm looking forward to it.

"My objective is to have a number of top level career choices going forward, and to be able to gain experience in endurance racing will hopefully open up my career prospects.

"I want to keep very busy, enjoy my racing and do some winning and I'm confident that by working again with Manor in WEC I'll achieve all of those things."

Manor originally announced it would run one ORECA-Nissan 05 this year, but has expanded its plans and will now field a second.

Stevens joins former Manor F3 driver Tor Graves as a confirmed driver.

"Everything has moved very quickly since we first announced that we would be entering the 2016 World Endurance Championship," Booth said.

"It is great news to be running an additional ORECA 05 LMP2, we can't wait to get started with the season at the prologue at the end of March.

"It's great that Will is joining the team, we know his talent and speed from working with him over the last few years in Formula 1 and we are all really looking forward to going racing with him."


Manor F1 team keeps GP2 racer Jordan King in development role

GP2 racer Jordan King has been retained by Manor as a development driver for the 2016 Formula 1 season.

The 22-year-old will dovetail his duties with another season in GP2 with Racing Engineering, having finished 12th in his debut year.

He got his first taste of an F1 car in December when he took part in the Pirelli tyre test in Abu Dhabi.

"Spending time trackside with the team last year was really important for me and for where I want to get to," said King, whose best result in GP2 last year was second in the Spa feature race.

"I saw all the processes and techniques that go into running an F1 team, plus I got a good grasp of how the tyres work as well as the data.

"So when I got the chance to drive the MR03B in the Abu Dhabi test, it felt like I'd had a massive head-start and I was really confident.

"I racked up 300km in that test and loved every second in the car.

"But what I want to do now is race one and I'm flat out working to achieve that."

Manor racing director Dave Ryan added: "I was at the Abu Dhabi test where Jordan drove our car for the first time and he did an impressive job.

"It was clear that he'd taken full advantage of the opportunity to get under the skin of the team and understand the systems, processes and people.

"Over the winter months he helped us to refine driver installation with the new chassis, pending the signing of our race drivers, so the development driver role really is mutually beneficial."

Pa dobro i dalje ostaje zal sto nije umjesto Ria al sta je tu je.
Mozda i odveze koju trku, ko zna.

Da barem Haryanto nastavi s lošim nastupima, pa da ga Rossi zamjeni. Mislim da je konkretniji vozač dosta, a i Stevensa je spremio u džep vrlo brzo, tj. odmah u svojoj prvoj utrci. Je platiša, ali nije tako loš.

Kako ovaj Haryanto vozi, mogao bi vrlo brzo doživjeti povredu, pa da uskoči rezerva.

Za razliku od nekoga, mi ne moramo vucarati bolid tj ovaj krs.

Biti ce zanimljivo ukoliko Manor bude ispred McLarena
