Znam da nemamo prednost u potrošnji goriva i u utrci gdje je Mercedes vjerojatno bolji motor.
To uopće nije moja poanta. Razvoj mora biti slobodan, pogotovo sada kada imamo samo 3 motora na raspolaganju.
Za sve ostalo tu je budget cap. Ko želi trošiti više na motor neka troši....ko želi više na šasiju neka troši.
Uostalom svi znamo da bi Honda i Renault dobili "bonus" nadogradnje da bi uhvatili prvu dvojicu...kao i 2008.

Ma nije možda, već imate. I nije samo u kvalifikacijama, već na svim power stazama se itekako osjeti razlika agregata.
U utrci Mercedes ima bolji bolid, a ne bolji motor.
Da li je to zbog potrošnje goriva ili guma ne znam.

Da baš Ferrari ima tu prednost onda bi se to vidjelo kod svih ekipa koje koriste Ferrarijev motor...Alfa i Haas, a oni baš nisu na vrhu speed trapova.
Ferrarije je bolid sa najmanje draga pa zato leti na ravnicama...i dobije se privid da imaju "daleko najjači motor"... gluposti.
Svi to znaju. Također znamo već da Mercedes praktički ne mora štedjeti gorivo u utrci i da u utrci Mercedes može duže vremena biti u višim postavkama motora.
Isto tako Mercedes ima bolju pouzdanost od Ferrarija.
Po kojoj definiciji je Ferrarijev motor TOLIKO bolji, osim što u kvalama možda ima nesto vise konja?
Ferrarije je bolid sa najmanje draga pa zato leti na ravnicama...i dobije se privid da imaju "daleko najjači motor"... gluposti.

Ne vidim uopće ni smisao rasprave oko toga kada snaga motora više i nije toliko jako bitna. Najbolji primjer tome je Red Bull u Austriji gdje je na papiru Ferrari bio veliki favorit zbog tipa staze. Gume su ključni faktor. I to objašnjava Ferrari u kvalama i Ferrari u utrci, dva potpuno druga svijeta.

Ma ja ne vjerujem da Ferrari uopšte ima ikakvu prednost i u kvalama. Na pravcima su brži jer imaju koncept bolida takav da je bolji za brzinu na pravcu i sam bolid im stvara manje otpora zraka, tako da su par kmh brži, ali su isto tako par kmh sporiji kroz spore i srednje brze krivine gdje im fali taj drag koji Red Bull i Mercedes imaju. Mislim da u istu šasiju ubacimo Ferrari i Mercedes, da bi u kvalama bilo unutar pola desetinke na bilo koju stranu, dok bi potrošnjom i pouzdanošću Mercedes bio bolji definitivno.

Red Bull approached Fernando Alonso around the time of the British Grand Prix, offering him Pierre Gasly’s race-seat only to receiving a “resounding ‘no'”.
Alonso walked away from Formula 1 at the end of last year but continues to make headlines as reports link to him a possible return in 2020.
It, however, could have been earlier had he accepted a Red Bull race-seat midway through this season.
Although Red Bull were publicly proclaiming that the team would stick with Gasly through to the end of this campaign, behind the scenes they were already shopping around at July’s British Grand Prix.
According to Mundo Deportivo, the Milton Keynes squad offered Gasly’s seat to Alonso only for the double World Champion to decline the offer.
“And it is not Fernando who approached Red Bull,” claims the report, “but it was the team led by Christian Horner who was interested in the driver.”
The answer though, was a “resounding ‘no’.”
When Alonso left F1 last year, he made his feelings on today’s sport well-known, saying he is unimpressed and uninterested in the lack of competition.
This is not the first time that Alonso has been linked to Red Bull with tech guru Adrian Newey revealing they were “very close” to signing him back in 2007.
“It’s one of those things that unfortunately never happened,” he told Esquire Magazine. “But it was very close.”
There were also talks in 2007, 2009, 2011 and 2013 while last year Alonso stated that Red Bull also approached him in “Monaco and again in August” regarding a 2019 drive.
Red Bull denied the latter approaches while it remains to be seen whether this latest one will come with a rebuttal.
