With a new victory in Austria, Filipić came one step closer to winning the tournament, after he had another fight on the track with FrankyPi in Ferrari. Filipić had a pole position, but immediately at the beginning he lost the lead with a better start by Franky. However, the decision to pick up the tire intermediate at the time the safety car was on its way back to the pits proved crucial. Franky tried to stay on the soft two more laps which cost him more than 10 seconds. From that moment on, Filipić cruised to the end with a pleasant advantage.
There were great fights behind him, as befits a track in Austria. Almighty, xEmperor and Mex battled for 3rd, 4th and 5th place, and Darrian ruined a great first phase of the race when he went to the pits for hard tires. Of course, with the arrival of the rain that strategic decision fell into the water and he lost too many positions. By the end, he had done some great overtaking, including the one over Dux in the final sector of the final lap, and finished in 6th place. He also profited from the numerous fines the drivers in front of him had.
The star of the race was Miljevic, who had an incident almost every time the director switched to his car. He eventually finished in 11th place and was left without points.
After disappointing qualifiers, Mario made great progress in the race and finished on the podium.
The fastest lap of the race was made by ifilipic17, which earned him as many as 26 points today.

Unfortunately, it has a dream damage (yellow wing) after that one comes out of the pie, but that wouldn’t even change much when that backmarker bothers on restart. The first pit stop was a mistake to stay of course, but the game told others to stop at the inter in the lap when they left, and me only two laps after, so I don’t know what’s going on here other than the classic Codemasters. Of course, my dream is to deny that damage a round earlier on the inter, but what's there is. The chances for the first place are now very narrow and require great trouble for Filipić. I will do my best to the end, whatever.
