Igor justified the status of the favorite and immediately made it in the first attempt in the qualifications impressive weather. He later improved it even more and convincingly won the pole position. He lost first place in the race at the start, but later in a fight with Frankie he regained that position and won without major problems.
Frankie will certainly not be satisfied with the result because he spilled the first position, but today he was one of the best. He resisted Filipić and after 3 tenths of a delay in the qualifications, he immediately skipped it with a better start to the race. The safety car was welcome to gather a little, and later it worked great restart and left Filipic to defend himself against Djotun behind. It's a shame that later twisted in a duel with Mercedes because he could spice up the start of this tournament.
Although Dux often channels his inner Hamilton and claims that everyone around him is terribly fast and big threats - now he has proved that he belongs to that team on an equal footing. He did not prove himself in the qualifications, but he put together a great strategy in the race as well by the late overtaking of Djotun won P4.
Mario, like Dux, disappointed in the qualifiers and only placed in the ungrateful 10th place. But he had even better tactics than Dux. He stretched his stint on the medium so he could go for soft tires in the final phase of the race. He had a much better pace on them than everyone around him. Series [1, 2, 3] nice clean overtaking went from P10 at the start to P3 at the finish.
