Carlin's duo locked the first starting line for tomorrow's main race in Sochi - Yuki Tsunoda was only six thousandths faster than teammate Jehan Daruvala, giving the Japanese the third pole position of the season.

Leading man of the championship Mick Schumacher managed to qualify for third place, while next to him will start one of the main competitors for the title, Callum Ilott.

Luca Ghiotto and Christian Lundgaard will start from the third starting line, while Robert Schwartzman managed to be the seventh fastest on the home track. Next to him will start Jack Aitken, and the fastest 10 will be concluded by Guanyu Zhou and another local driver, Nikita Mazepin.

Jake Hughes managed to be faster than teammate Artyom Markelov in his debut F2 qualifiers - the Briton qualified in 15th and the Russian in 20th.

Giuliano Alesi did not start his career at MP Motorsport well, he only qualified for the penultimate, 21st place. A bad result was also achieved by Dan Ticktum, who, after a lot of problems with traffic in fast laps, broke through only to the 17th starting place.

In Russia, a changed weekend schedule awaits us, ie the main Formula 2 race will not be held in the standard term after the Formula 1 qualifications - the race starts tomorrow at 9:15 Croatian time.

    Good, good… .. everything is better… ..: thumbs:
It’s a little premature to make this statement, but I wouldn’t be so surprised to replace Kvyat in AlphaTaura for 2021.
