Formula 1 will for the second Grand Prix of Bahrain, which is scheduled for 4-6. December use a different track configuration. Instead of the usual and extended "Mickey Mouse" version - this time they chose an external configuration that is only 3543 meters long.

There are a total of 9 turns on the track, and many of them will be driven by drivers at full throttle so lap times are expected to drop below 55 seconds. This would break the record of Niki Lauda from Dijon, who completed the lap in 1974 in just 58,79 seconds.

87 laps will be driven to reach the mandatory 305 kilometers.

I only see 4 braking points.
It could be under 55 sec…

    Great layout.
I'm not a fan of ovals, but this will not be a classic oval.
If the lap is below 55 sec, 80+ laps should be expected. 160 potential places to overtake.
The DRS could be abolished in this race.

Correction. They report that there will be 87 rounds.

    It looks uninteresting…
DRS needs to be removed on this ..

I was just wondering when the second race in Bahrain will be run on a different configuration and it turns out that it will.

It won’t be an overly interesting lap to follow, but it could be more exciting in the race, and I personally prefer to watch two different configurations than two of the same in a row :)

Nonsense. They could then drive in the arena on the karting track.

Hmm, there will be interesting qualifications, when the whole grid is within half a second…

You mean from the 4th to the 20th month…
You have on the 3rd month. Max with -0.3si then Merđe -1.3s (Bottas -1.2si Ham -1.3s)
Maybe I said a little… Mercedes can get 1sec in the direction when it thickens. And here are three directions and one small spaghetti

Wow, maybe I’m the only one who’s totally excited about this race. The Outer Ring is a total madness of the trail, like the mini Circuit de la Sarthe or the Red Bull Ring. I was really happy, and I don't care that the Bears will shave everything. Although it was voted the worst, let's say the Spanish Grand Prix, it was a great race for me.
